Which face wash should you choose?
The Cleanance Cleansing Gel is the ultimate purifying treatment: it removes impurities and unclogs pores. These clogged pores prevent sebum from flowing and are responsible for imperfections such as blackheads, spots, micro-cysts and shiny skin.

Cleanance Cleansing Gel is suitable for both adults and teenagers with oily, blemish-prone skin. This gel facial cleanser for men and women deeply cleanses while respecting sensitive skin. It is formulated without soap, with a physiological pH and 84% natural ingredients. In addition, these active ingredients with Thermal Spring Water offer an unparalleled feeling of freshness and cleanliness.
In the evening, Cleanance Micellar Water removes makeup and cleanses oily and acne-prone skin in a single step.
If you have acne-prone skin and are undergoing medical treatments that can be drying and irritating, replace your usual cleansers with the more soothing Cleanance Hydra Cleansing Cream.
If shine and imperfections are only localised to the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin), you probably have combination skin. A lighter foaming gel texture, such as the Foam Facial Cleanser, will rebalance the production of sebum on the T-zone while protecting the sensitive cheeks.
However, if you have dry skin, choose a nourishing gel cleanser such as Trixera Nutrition Nutri-Fluid Cleansing Gel, which is suitable for the whole family.
How do you use a cleansing gel?
In the morning, Cleanance Cleansing Gel helps regulate excess sebum accumulated during the night, especially when in contact with the pillow. In the evening, it also removes makeup residue, dust and sweat.
Before cleansing your face, be sure to wash your hands with water and mild soap to avoid spreading bacteria when touching the skin.
Cleansing gel is particularly easy to use: a small amount of the product emulsified between the hands is enough to clean your whole face.
First, moisten your face with warm water. Make sure that the water is not too hot, as this may dry out the skin and/or stimulate sebum production.
Secondly, lather the cleansing gel in your hands and apply it to the entire face in circular motions, avoiding contact with the eyes. For combination and oily skin, focus on the T-zone, which is usually more clogged, and then just touch the cheeks if they are drier, so as not to irritate them. Don't forget to also clean your neck and chest area, parts of the body that can also be prone to excess sebum.
Then rinse your face thoroughly with cool water to close the pores. You've now removed all impurities from the day or night – as simple as that!
Dry your face with a clean towel without rubbing, dabbing gently to avoid irritating the skin.
Finish your facial cleansing routine by spraying Thermal Spring Water Spray to remove hard water and chlorine residues from tap water.
Finally, even if your skin is oily, moisturising is essential. Whatever the nature of your skin, don't skip applying a day cream or night cream adapted to your needs.
How do you open up the pores on your face?
Sweat, dust, excess sebum and makeup residue can clog pores and thus cause imperfections on the face.
Here are two of our beauty tips for opening up your pores and maximising the effectiveness of your daily facial cleanser.
Once or twice a week, exfoliate your face with the Cleanance MASK Scrub-Mask to remove dead skin. This beauty step is essential for refreshing oily and acne-prone skin.
After using the facial scrub, treat yourself to a steam bath. This involves bending your face over a bowl of boiling water for five to ten minutes with a towel over your head. This method, similar to a medical inhalation, is particularly effective in opening the pores and welcoming the treatments to follow. As an added bonus, it stimulates blood circulation and makes the complexion glow. You can gently finish this moment of relaxation by refreshing your face with a pleasant mist of Thermal Spring Water spray.
