In the winter, these areas are constantly exposed to cold and wind, which makes them even more vulnerable. They therefore require special care to face winter without losing comfort and softness.

To pamper them, Laboratoires Dermatologiques Avène has reinvented the traditional Cold Cream formula with its nourishing, protective and softening properties, notably by replacing rose water with Avène Thermal Spring Water, with its recognised soothing and anti-irritating properties. Cold Cream has, therefore, been adapted for sensitive skin to offer you a complete response (and range).

      A mythical formula with unrivalled effectiveness

      Used for centuries, the Cold Cream formulation is a safe bet for dry skin. Its secret? Protecting the skin's hydrolipidic film (its protective shield) thanks to a mixture, created in the 2nd century, of beeswax, sweet almond oil, rose water and sodium borate.  Even though its composition may vary, its aim is always to protect the skin by using the most protective and nourishing things nature has to offer.

      Our Laboratories have modernised this skincare product to adapt it to the most sensitive skin thanks to a natural formula combining mineral oil and beeswax to reinforce the skin barrier and, of course, Avène Thermal Spring Water with its soothing and softening properties. 

      Avène Cold Cream provides complete and highly nourishing protection for lips, hands and dry skin throughout the range. Tested in extreme cold conditions (down to -25°C), the Cold Cream range resists the lowest temperatures and provides comfort and nourishment in the most extreme conditions.

      Cold Cream is suitable for use by the whole family: infants, children and adults. Thanks to its richness in white beeswax, this care product protects baby's skin from external aggressions and provides an immediate sensation of comfort.
      To protect the lips of children aged 2 and over from external aggressions, Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm is perfect.

      The traditional formula has been modernised to offer both deep nourishment and excellent sensoriality. Based on our formulation expertise, we offer nourishing yet non-sticky products perfectly suited for daily use.
