The smell is linked to the active ingredient Comedoclastin™ (milk thistle extract), which is present in the product at a dosage of 25%. This odour evaporates quickly and does not interfere with the tolerance of the product and does not present any risk to the skin. It has been proven that skin tolerates Cleanance Comedomed extremely well.
Yes, the start of an active treatment (whether a drug or dermo-cosmetic) can act as a trigger for a breakout. Under its effect, a large number of spots, previously dormant under the skin, emerge at the same time. This causes the phenomenon of a "flare-up" (an explosion or exacerbation of pimples). Treatment should be continued in all cases, because the next phase will allow for the rapid exhaustion of the "embryo stock” of spots.This will help to keep blemishes to a minimum.
